Howdy y’all let me introduce myself, I am Chef Tyler and this how my passion and love for baking catapulted me in starting on a flavorful journey to where I am now over 30 years later. When I was about 8 years old as a kid, I had this tiny fire that had sparked up in me by the amazing smells and flavors of my family’s holiday traditions alongside my fathers cookies being baked every sunday. The realization was that food is what anchors in all of us some of our favourite memories. Now, as a classically trained pastry chef and baker, I’ve moved beyond the childlike wonder of just winging it and I now totally have embraced the more “Scientific” philosophy to my food and my baking. I truly believe that in every baker, no matter how young or how old, professional or not; is that small version of us that wants to know what I now know. We all should get to know the reasons why we do what we do—from understanding the basics of a windowpane test for gluten development to fixing an icing that has split. It is my hope and my mission to help you turn your own kitchen into a Cinn-Fully successful and Cinn-Fully Delicious baking lab. I’m all about being open, honest, and radically transparent, so here in this blog I will not only share my wins you will all get to see how even me have the inevitable “burnt trays” of cookies or “flour bombed disasters” that got me here. By mixing the solid technical know-how with a whole lot of love encouragement, I want to not just help you level up, I want to help you in bridging that wide expansive gap between the simple quick and easy comfort foods and help you reach those seriously indulgent and decadent desserts so you just like me can bake like a master chef we all wanted to be as a kid.
